The poetbabies.com web site (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Scott Landsbaum d/b/a Poet Babies ("POET BABIES"). By accessing this Site, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted this privacy policy. If you do not agree with this privacy policy, please do not use this Site.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter this privacy policy at any time. Use of Information

POET BABIES uses or may use personally identifiable information that you provide for such purposes as sending requested electronic postcards and email messages, sending electronic newsletters, and responding to your questions regarding our products and services. POET BABIES currently does not disclose to third parties personally identifiable information that you provide, except from time to time, we may transfer, disclose or share such information with third parties who may be engaged by us specifically to handle and deliver certain online activities. Such third parties have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes. Please note, however, that personal information which you provide in or with any photograph or Item most likely will be made publicly available and shared with third parties. This Site Is Not For Children

This Site is not intended for children. If you are a child aged 13 or younger, please do not send us any emails or other information about yourself. Please ask your parent or guardian to contact us for you.

Normal Web Site Usage & Cookies

We do not collect personal information during normal viewing of the Site. When you access a page on our website, our servers log your Internet Service Provider (ISP) address for the purpose of system administration and aggregate information. Our servers also record your type of browser (e.g. Netscape or Internet Explorer or other geko browsers) and your operating system (e.g. Macintosh or Windows). We do not link or combine this information to any personal information that you submit online when participating in our activities.

Log data collected on web servers both within our control and under the control of our third party service provider, who is required to maintain such data on a confidential basis, supplies POET BABIES with aggregate information about the number of visits to different pages on our site. POET BABIES uses such aggregate information to improve access to our content based on our visitors' browsers and operating system types to make our content available to as many people as possible. We do not link the log data collected to any personal information submitted online when participating in our activities.

Cookies are information files that your web browser places on the hard drive of your computer when you visit a website. Cookies cannot damage user files, nor can they read information from a user's hard drive. Cookies allow websites to "remember" users activities on a website as well as users visits to a site. At POET BABIES, cookies are used to determine the number of unique visitors to our website over a given period. We do not store any personal information into cookies nor do we link or combine information collected through cookies to any personal information that you submit online when participating in our activities. Electronic Postcards and Email Messages

POET BABIES provides you the opportunity to send electronic postcards to family or friends. Also, we may feature information about events or products that you are interested in and request us to email to your family and/or friends to let them share your interest. We may ask for a first name, but we do not require you to submit personally identifiable information in order to send an electronic postcard or for POET BABIES to send email messages to family or friends. We do, however, ask that you submit the email address of the recipient of such electronic postcards or email messages. All information collected for electronic postcards and email messages is used only to send the requested electronic postcard or email message and to respond to email questions and/or requests and is deleted from our system once the electronic postcard, email message or email response is sent.

Electronic Newsletter Subscription

From time to time POET BABIES may offer you the opportunity to sign up to receive a newsletter by email. All information collected for POET BABIES newsletters is used only to send the electronic newsletter and may be transferred, disclosed, or shared with third parties who may be engaged by us specifically to handle the preparation and delivery of the electronic newsletter and perform other related technical and processing functions. These third parties may not use it for other purposes and have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of such information. Your email address can be removed from our newsletter by following the "unsubscribe" instructions found at the end of any of the newsletter emails.

Consumer Service

You may email us questions about our services or products through the contact us feature of this web site. We do not request that users submit any personal information online for customer service inquiries. We may however ask for personal information to better help us respond to customer service questions. We do not sell, transfer or share such information with third parties, with the exception that the information is transferred, disclosed and shared with our third party agents who uses the information solely to handle and manage customer service, but cannot use it for other purposes and have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Other Disclosures

In the event that all or substantially all of the assets relating to POET BABIES are transferred, licensed or sold to another entity, personally identifiable information submitted to us may be transferred to the acquiring entity, but will remain subject to this privacy policy. In addition, we may also disclose personally identifiable information to third parties in order to comply with law or requests by law enforcement agencies, to enforce our legal terms and conditions or to protect the rights, property or safety of our website, users of our website and others.
